Hello Lake Bluff Families,

First, I would like to thank our PTO and families for the buffet of amazing treats and wonderful gifts. Once again, I am reminded about the caring supportive community we are so lucky to be surrounded by.

I would also like to wish you a happy and safe Winter Break. This is a time for all of us, including our staff, to get rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. To that end, please note that the Lake Bluff office will be closed during break and we have encouraged our staff to "unplug" during the break as well. Emails and questions will be responded to upon our return, on January 6. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy this break!

Every week we will try to showcase some important people that you may not know who contribute to the success of Lake Bluff.

Ms. Scheferman works in the office at Lake Buff. Her official title is Administrative Assistant to the Principal. She has been at Lake Bluff for 9 years. She moved to Wisconsin in late 90's to oversee a federal grant while she was working as a recreational therapist. She stayed home to raise her children before returning to work at Lake Bluff.

Ms. Scheferman's Fun Fact: Ms. Scheferman traveled to Africa 2 years ago where she got to kiss a giraffe. Don't try this at the zoo, kids!
