It is that time of year when our school starts to look at data from this school year (2024-2025) and plan for the next school year (2025-2026). As part of this planning process, you will be invited to share your feedback about our school's Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy, the School-Parent Compacts, and the use of Title I Parent and Family Engagement funds. Make your voice count by attending a feedback meeting and by filling out the GSCS 2025 Spring Parent Survey (linked below).

Please join us to have your voice heard on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. You can attend virtually at 9:00AM or in person at 6:00PM. We have a great evening of family fun and important conversations planned, and we hope to see you there!

The Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) appreciates your willingness to share your input in an effort to improve the parent engagement activities at our school and in our school system. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and all of your answers will be confidential and anonymous. Only one survey should be completed per household. Georgia Standards of Excellence outline what is to be mastered at each grade level and within each subject. You can find information about the Georgia Standards of Excellence at the Georgia Department of Education website. This link will take you to georgiastandards.org. Easy to use icons will allow you to click on each subject area and review standards for each grade level. If you have questions about the Georgia Standards of Excellence, please talk with your child's teacher or call your child's school and make an appointment to speak with the school's parent liaison.

A free, nonprofit educational platform with high-quality video lessons and interactive exercises in math, science, reading, and more. Parents can set up accounts to track progress and support their children's learning at home.

This site provides engaging educational activities, games, and parenting tips to support children's learning and social-emotional development. It includes subject-specific resources and hands-on activities that make learning fun.

The Moreland Road Parent Resource Center, conveniently located in the front lobby, serves as a valuable hub for families. It houses essential Title I documents, providing parents with insights into school policies and academic expectations. The center also offers information on Lexile levels and math data to support student achievement. Additionally, QR codes are available for easy access to various online resources utilized by Griffin-Spalding County Schools. This dedicated space empowers parents with tools and information to enhance their child's educational journey.

Did you know that the Griffin-Spalding County School System also has a Parent Resource Center? Find hands on activities, books and brochures for your student in our District Parent Resource Center. The center is designed to provide educational resources for parents to help your student succeed academically. Parents can also find computers with internet access at the center. The best part is resources are FREE! You can find the Parent Resource Center located in the Parent Services Building, Room 121 on 234 E. Taylor Street, Griffin, GA 30224.
