Students have completed state testing and will begin MAP testing Wednesday. Below is the scheduled days for testing. If you can avoid appointments or pulling your student from school on these days, it would be appreciated.

Mid-Term Grades were posted last Friday, if you have not logged in to check out your child's academic status, now is the time. We strongly encourage your child to talk to teachers now rather than the last week of school to work on a plan for improvement. The last PPH for 8th Grade is: May 9 and for 6th and 7th grade May 16. Paola Middle School will say Good-Bye this year to Ms. Cindy Dial after 29 years teaching at our school, 36 total years in education. The dedication she has to students and to the learning happening here will be missed. We all wish her well in her retirement.

After working with students at every age in the Paola District, USD368 Superintendent, Judy Welter, will retire in June. Mrs. Welter has been a Teacher, a Principal, and Central Office Administration during her 28 years educating students in Paola.
