Wrapping Up 2024
Much To Be Thankful For...
December brings excitement, emotions and bit of unpredictability at times. I wanted to first start out by thanking the AMAZING staff at PHCS for keeping our students safe, engaged, and enriched throughout each and every day.
Each department serves an integral role in the success of our students and our school system.
Thank-you to our Transportation Staff-
for getting our students to and from school and events safely.
Thank-you to our our Custodians, Cleaners and Maintenance Staff-
for wearing many hats and ensuring our students walk into a safe, clean, and functioning school building each day.
Thank-you to our Cafeteria Staff-
for providing nutritious, thoughtful meals, and exposing students to new opportunities each month.
Thank-you to our Guidance Staff-
for ensuring students are set up for success today, tomorrow, and beyond.
Thank-you to our Teachers and Support Staff-
for providing experiences each day for students to learn, grow, and push themselves to be "caring, conscientious, and creative".
Thank-you to our Building Secretaries-
you are always a phone call away and a friendly face for our families and students.
Thank-you to our Board of Education
for your continued supports in ensuring we have the tools to provide the most appropriate experiences for our students.
The Parishville-Hopkinton Administration
thanks each of YOU for sharing your students with us.
Winter Concerts
Despite the snowy conditions we were able to combine concerts and with only a few extra transitions- we had a successful 3rd-12th Grade Concert.
Thank-you to Don, Andrea, and Staff for a wonderful event to spread Holiday Cheer.
Our youngest kiddos warmed the heart of all with their performance too.
Singing, dancing, laughter spread joy to family and friends.
Thank-you Kindergarten, First, Second, and Staff for leading this special showcase.

Student Engagement
Within student engagement lies student attendance.
We value the importance of students arriving on time and prepared to school each day.
We open our building at 7:30 am.
Homeroom is 7:50 daily.
1st Period begins at 8:00.
Daily announcements are created with our Pawdcast Class and played over the PA from 8:41-8:44.
The building is secure at 8am, students arriving after 8am must utilize the Front Door.
Students arriving after 8am must be signed in with Ms. Mackey.
Parents are able to provide written excuse for their students tardy, a student without an excuse may be required to stay 10th period.
Our 10th Period (2:26-3:10) is part of our Academic Day. Student who are late to school will be given an opportunity to stay with their 1st Period Teacher when applicable. If this is not feasible the student will be required to stay in the Library.
Student Release:
Questions have come to light recently regarding student release.
We are unable to accept a written note as the means to excuse a student to leave on their own terms.
Students less than 18-years of age must be signed out at the Main Office.
Typically family members will sign out their student, however anyone older than 18 years of age listed as a contact in schooltool or listed in a written note 24 hours prior from dismissal (and verified by the Main Office) can sign out students.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause families; we must do our due diligence to ensure students are leaving the building safely and under supervision.
