I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends. It's hard to believe that December is here and we are almost half- way through the school year. As the semester comes to a close, please monitor your child's grades. All students must pass 5 out of 6 classes to include LA and MA to be promoted to the next grade. The Semester ends on December 20th and there are a lot of students in jeopardy of not meeting the promotion criteria. The teachers are getting students ready for Final Exams with Bootcamps, Exam Reviews, Morning Study Sessions, etc. This would be a great time for your child to participate in some of the events listed above. If your child does not meet the promotion criteria, they are looking at possible Summer School or Retention.

Thanks to all the parents that attended the Session presented by GCPS Discipline Office Community Outreach Event. There was lot of valuable information shared on teen temptations and the GCPS discipline policies.

As we get forward to moving into a new year, I want to wish everyone a safe and wonderful Holiday and New Year from our Radloff Staff!!

Final Exams count as 10% of a students grade. If a student is absent on the Final Exam dates listed below, they will receive a zero(0) until the test is made up. I know some parents are traveling for the holidays, so I wanted to make you aware that the (0) could have a significant impact on your child's grade. All students who missed exams during the Window, will have to make them up after Winter Break. Those students will need to study during the break to be prepared upon return. It's better if the student is present on Exam Days. Also, try to limit check-outs to emergencies, to not interfere with the students not having enough time to complete the exam.

**Exams are Academic 1/2 on one day and 3/4 on the second day.**

8th Grade - Mon/Tues.- December 16 & 17

7th Grade - Wed/Thurs - December 18 & 19

All Student Help Sessions begin at 8:15 Monday through Thursday every week. Students can be dropped off as early as 7:30 to wait in the Media Center. If a student arrives after 8:30, they will not be able to attend the sessions due to limited time remaining. Parents, please try to have student here by 8:15 on Help Days.

Dec. 12 - 8th Grade Chorus Concert at McCLure HS at 6:30

Dec 12 - Basketball Game Radloff vs Hull at Meadowcreek HS 5:00 pm

Dec. 13 - Dad's and Doughnuts

Dec. 17 - 6th Grade Fine Arts Concert Radloff Gym at 6:00 pm

Dec. 19 - Basketball Game Radloff vs Summerour at Meadowcreek HS 5:00 pm

Dec. 20 - End of the Semester

Winter Break No School December 23- Jan. 3rd. Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday!!

Our next Local School Council date is January 16, 2020. in the LRMS Media Center. Please come and join us. We will be looking at some school-wide data.
