A Message from the Captain
Dear Everett Families,
As we pull into the harbor and drop anchor for the final days of the 2024–2025 school year on Monday, I want to take a moment to thank you for an incredible voyage together. What a year it has been! From the first day we set sail to the final weeks filled with celebration, growth, and joy, I’ve been so honored to serve as the principal of Everett Elementary.
Throughout the year, your children have grown in every way imaginable. We’ve charted new academic waters, weathered challenges with resilience, and celebrated so many victories along the way. Whether it was seeing students light up during a class project, take on leadership roles, or make a new friend, the spirit of kindness, curiosity, and community made this journey truly unforgettable.
Our “Cruising to Success” theme was more than just a catchy phrase. It reminded us that with teamwork, trust, and a shared sense of direction, we can go anywhere! And thanks to our talented staff, supportive families, and hardworking students, we stayed on course and reached new horizons together.
As we disembark for summer, I hope your family finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy smooth sailing in whatever adventures lie ahead. Thank you for your partnership, trust, and warmth throughout this year. It has been a joy to get to know this community, and I feel so lucky to call Everett the “best school on Earth” and maybe even the universe…
With gratitude,
Megan
