Last PTA Meeting of the Year
Please mark your calendars and plan to come to the last PTA General Meeting of the year on Monday, June 3, 5:30-7:30pm. We’ll be reviewing this year, planning for next year, voting on the proposal to increase LSF spending this year, and voting on next year’s budget.
Message from Ms Audel
It's hard to believe the year is coming to an end, but it is! All library books are due June 3, so please start looking around so we can get all books returned! The goal is to get ALL books back in the library so classes can earn a popsicle party to celebrate! Thank you and happy reading!
Yearbook Update
Due to some supply chain issues, Balfour, the company that produces our yearbooks, will behind on their production and distribution, and they anticipate that ours will not be ready until July. I apologize for the delay; this is not how we want yearbook distribution to work! We are asking that Balfour send yearbooks directly to students' houses since no one will be here in July to receive and distribute them.
Community Juneteenth Event
The Equitable Giving Circle is hosting its annual Juneteenth celebration at Irvington this year on Saturday, June 8! Please see the details below and note that this is an affinity space for families of color.
Auction Volunteer Info Night
Did you have a great time at this year’s auction and want to be part of the planning committee for next year? Come to an Auction Volunteer Info Night next Thursday, May 30, at 7pm at Steeplejack and meet with past auction chairs and other interested volunteers! Let’s share information, brainstorm ways to keep the auction successful but lighten the volunteer load, and put together a team for next year. As the biggest fundraiser of the year, it takes many volunteers to put on. It takes a large, committed group to make it happen. Grown ups from all grades and all experiences are encouraged to come and join the conversation.
