Principal's Corner
Dear Franklin Academy Families,
As we reach the end of the semester, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for welcoming me into this incredible community. These past months have been an unforgettable journey, and I feel truly blessed to serve as your principal. The support and partnership I’ve experienced from our families, staff, and students have been remarkable, and it is clear that Franklin Academy is a place where excellence thrives.
As we head into the holiday season, I want to wish each of you a joyful and restful time with your loved ones. Whether you’re traveling, celebrating at home, or simply enjoying the break, I hope this season brings peace and happiness to your family.
I also want to emphasize the importance of staying connected through my newsletters. My goal is to keep you informed and engaged with everything happening at our school, from upcoming events to exciting accomplishments. Please take a few moments each month to read these updates—they are my primary way of ensuring our partnership remains strong and that you’re always in the loop.
Thank you again for an amazing first semester. I look forward to continuing this journey together in the new year as we work toward making Franklin Academy an even better place for our students to learn and grow.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Sergio Delgado, your proud principal

Prioritizing Academics
Happy holidays!
Please see attached two fliers with information about Broward County Libraries' upcoming ready for college and SAT/ACT workshops scheduled in 2025. Most of the ready for college workshops are online while SAT/ACT workshops are offered in various locations throughout the county.
The SAT/ACT workshop series at Southwest Regional Library will be held towards the end of May – please encourage your students to try to attend SAT/ACT workshops at other locations, if possible, because the workshops at Southwest Regional Library is very popular and fill up quickly when registration opens.
