Kindergarten Graduation: 9:45-10:45
Pre Kindergarten Graduation: 11:15-11:45
We have a large number of guest for this event. Please preregister below. If you do not, you will have to wait in line for a sticker. You may be late to the event.
All adult (16+) visitors are to wear their visitor stickers for the entire event.

Event Policy: A ticket is required for entry for each person 16 years of age and older.

4th and 5th Grade Field Day at BISD Stadium
The field day for 4th and 5th graders is at the BISD Stadium. You will need a free ticket to attend at the link below.
4th grade Thursday, May 16th
5th grade Friday, May 17th
For safety reasons, students cannot be checked out at the field day. They will ride the bus back to the school at the end of the event.

Last Day of School Event Check-In
We are excited to invite you to our Last Day of School Events on Wednesday, May 22nd.
9:15- End of year slideshow
10:00- Awards 3rd (cafeteria) and 4th (gym)
10:30- Party
11:40- Dismissal

Harvest House Summer Food Program
Harvest House Summer Food Program: May 28-August 9. Families with school aged children (K-12) can receive summer food program snacks twice per month. Registration required. Call 817-295-6252.
Promises Community Summer Food Program
Kids Eat Free! Provided by Promises Community Ministry. Each Wednesday starting June 12th through August 7th from 12:00-1:30 PM, families can drive through and receive a bag of groceries providing breakfast and lunch for the week. For more information and qualifications call 817-295-9384.

Attendance Matters
Our School Wide Attendance Goal for the Year is 97%
Attendance Incentive- The classroom is working on spelling out ATTENDANCE. Each day everyone is in attendance (including the teacher), and the classroom earns a letter of the word. Once they spell out ATTENDANCE, the class will celebrate! The teacher will decide on the celebration in his/her classroom.
The winning grade level each week will earn a special dress-up day: Hat Day, PJ Day, etc. Teacher choice for Friday of the following week.

Instruction starts immediately at 7:40 a.m. If your child is consistently absent or tardy, they will have gaps in their learning.
Attendance and tardy letters will be sent home with students and emailed to those who have chronic absences and /or excessive tardies. Per Tex. Educ. Code § 25.093, truancy will be filed on chronic absences. If you need support, please reach out to Mrs. Taylor.
Parking Lot/ Drop Off Lanes Safety Reminders
- Please do not drop off your students at the corner of the bus lane stop sign.
- Our second lane closes at 7:35 to allow teachers to get inside for classes starting at 7:40. Please drop your student off on the sidewalk side. As soon as you reach the gate, please have your student ready to unload. We should be able to unload 10 cars at a time.
- All eyes on kids and traffic. Avoid being on your cell phone in our parking lot and drop off lanes.

BISD Substitute
Parents, BISD sent the following email, and we want you to choose Brock. As a substitute teacher at Brock, you can arrive with your student, substitute while your child is in school, and then leave with your student at the end of the day. We want you to join our substitute team and call Brock your home away from home.
