Message from Principal Heard
Hello Trailblazers!
I am getting more and more excited to welcome all of our learners to school. Every time I walk through the campus I am overjoyed that I am here. The campus was made even more beautiful this summer with the addition and installation of a rock garden in the planter in front of the M Building. I hope you stop by and appreciate the painted rocks and messages of kindness and happiness.
Please read below for some very important information about the first days and weeks of school.
Looking forward to meeting you all soon,
Teri Heard
Your very proud principal 😊
Back to School Night Schedule of Events
Stone Ranch hosts three different Back to School Night events. Please click here to view the Back to School Night Schedule. We ask that only parents/guardians attend the classroom presentations. We have coordinated with the Del Norte High School Ambassadors to supervise children if childcare is required.
A big thank you to our Nighthawk Ambassadors!
Classroom/Teacher Assignments Coming Soon!
Parents/Guardians of students in 1st-5th grade will be able to access classroom assignments beginning August 20th at 4pm. Visit the following website https://MyPlan.powayusd.com and log in with your parent PUSD login, click on the Canvas icon, and you will see a tile for each class your student(s) are enrolled in. If you do not know or have forgotten your PUSD login information, please visit https://password.powayusd.com/AccountSelfService/.
Parents/Guardians of students in TK/K will receive an email on Monday at 3pm with their classroom teacher assignment as their Back to School Night is later that evening.
SRES Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
The first day is always an extra busy and congested time in the parking lot. Please make sure to plan for enough time to park if you want to walk your student to their class (an option for the first day of school only). As a reminder, there is plenty of parking at the lot near the Boys and Girls club and it is a short and hassle free walk to campus.
Suggested School Supply Information
There are multiple ways that you can support your TK-5th grade student's classroom experience. Teachers kindly ask that you consider making a one time donation of $60 for classroom supplies or review and provide items from the teacher's list of requested supplies. All donations are voluntary. A donation is never required to participate in any school activity.
Click here for more information on how to donate to your student's teacher.
Counselor's Corner
Calling all new students! You're invited to join Ms. Nikki and Ms. Mina for new student lunch groups starting Monday, August 26th! This is a great way to meet people and make new friends.
