St. Thomas School
Mid-Week Memo: November 27, 2024
Our Mission:
St. Thomas School serves the parishes of St. Therese of Lisieux, Holy Spirit, and St. Matthew.
In partnership with the family, we are dedicated to nurturing the personal development of the whole child. Our mission is to instill Catholic values, foster self-discipline, and promote academic excellence in the spirit of a caring, affirming community.
From the Principal's Desk...
Greetings, St. Thomas families!
What a delightful Thanksgiving Luncheon we had last week; it was a testament to our incredible St. Thomas community! In the past week, many classrooms have celebrated Thanksgiving in their learning activities. Grade 2 made fact family turkeys, grade one used colored marshmallows on toothpicks to create “feathers” on potatoes, and eighth graders helped kindergarten students build Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade floats, which they paraded around the school this afternoon. We have so many blessings to be thankful for at St. Thomas!
Monday, December 2nd: Bishop Ruggieri Visits St. Thomas School!
The Monday we return to school after Thanksgiving break Bishop Ruggieri will be visiting our school. Please be sure students are dressed in clean, proper uniforms that day. He will be joining us in the morning for arrival and staying to have lunch with grades PK-4. In between he will be visiting classrooms and students. We are excited to welcome the Bishop to our school!
