Happy Monday, Magi Families!

On this Labor Day, let’s take a moment to honor the incredible dedication of our teachers and staff, whose tireless efforts make a difference in our students' lives every day. After nearly a year of work on our therapy dog project, I'm thrilled to announce that Wicker made his debut at Thursday's football game! As a full-time member of the Magi team, Wicker will bring comfort and support to our school community. We’re also looking into adding a facility dog at the elementary school soon! Here’s my favorite photo from his introduction—research shows that these programs truly make a difference for students, staff, and others in our school.

Lastly, I’ve heard your feedback about the length of the Magi Messenger. There is a lot going on in our schools, but I have adjusted the Table of Contents to focus only on new updates, making it easier for you to stay informed.

This week we are assessing students on reading and math at both CES and CHS. This gives us baseline data to support students with 1:1 interventions and instructional supports.
