Join us in celebrating Juneteenth!
Juneteenth Block Party
Doc luv the kids (non profit) , Emerald City outdoor movies and The Brothers Tree Services would like to invite you to the Juneteenth Bremerton Block Party. Together with community partners, this is a wonderful free event for the community of Kitsap to learn about this special day and the history of this moment.
The Block Party will be Thursday, June 19, at the Perry Avenue Mall, from 1pm-5pm.
Farewell to Armin Jahr!
There was a great turnout of friends, family, and community to say farewell to the current Armin Jahr building last week!
We celebrated the history and accomplishments there and look forward to the future of Armin Jahr in a beautiful new building! More photos of the celebration here!
There is also a lot of activity at the interim campus across Wheaton Way on the old East High property. If you haven't driven by recently, you should check it out!
Community offers goodbyes to Bremerton's aging Armin Jahr Elementary
The East Bremerton school will move to a temporary home for 18 months while a permanent campus is rebuilt on-site. See the full Kitsap Sun article here!
Graduations!
There are graduations left and right - Congratulations to all our graduates!
West Sound Technical Skills Center celebrated their graduates on Friday, May 30th at their facility on National Ave.
Renaissance High School held their graduation last week at the BHS PAC on Friday, June 6th. There are photos here!
Bremerton High School Seniors are graduating this Friday, June 13th at 7pm at the BHS Memorial Stadium. The event will be livestreamed here. Visit BHS.bremertonschools.org/graduation for more information.
The 8th grade moving up ceremony is today, June 12th at BHS at 9:55am.
Kindergarten and 5th grade graduations are happening at all our elementary schools this week and next week!

West Sound's baseball all-stars close out season with walk-off win
The American All-Stars defeated the National All-Stars 6-5 in nine innings at Lobe Field at the Fairgrounds.
Bremerton's Cadengo grabs four state medals, including 400-meter title
The Knights also captured the Class 2A boys 4x400 relay title while finishing fourth in the team standings.
Bremerton's Wheaton answers state challenge with shot put title
The senior capped her record-setting season at Bremerton with the Class 2A girls title.
