Principal's Message
Being Thankful
The Thanksgiving holiday is upon us! Whether you celebrate it or not, and how you celebrate it, makes no difference. The practice of being thankful is a healthy quality for us to build in our students.
Take some time over this next week to have some conversations with your child about some things that they might be thankful for.
- What is something that you are thankful for at home?
- What can you do to show that you are thankful for that?
- What is something that you are thankful for at school?
- What can you do to show that you are thankful for that?
- Who is someone that you are thankful for at home?
- What can you do to show that you are thankful for them?
- Who is someone that you are thankful for at school?
- What can you do to show that you are thankful for them?
Being thankful and showing thanks are two actions that truly go together.
In closing this week, I am very thankful for all of you. As a community, we can help to build our students into successful citizens of the world. I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving break this week.

Picking Up and Dropping Off Students
As a safety reminder, when picking up or dropping off your student, please use our drop-off loop (the staff parking lot is not for student drop-off) and pull as far forward as possible when in line with your vehicle. This supports a smooth drop-off and pick-up process.
🚗 Parents should stay in their vehicles and pull up to the student drop-off zone during this time. Please do not leave a vehicle unattended in the drop-off loop at any time. If you need help, wave down a staff member and we will be happy to assist you. Thank you for doing your part to keep our students safe.
Additionally, please be sure that your students have the proper car seats, booster seats, or seatbelts as required by California State Law. Let us know if you need help or resources to keep your student safe. 💺✅
