Greetings Aspire Families:


Thank you Aspire Families for a great day of Parent Teacher Conferences! We appreciate your commitment to student success. Also, congratulations to all students who received awards at the K-8 hybrid assembly. It was such a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with families in person and online. Next week is our 3rd annual Truck or Treat scheduled for October 25th! Cant wait to see you! This is open to students and their families. Have a great weekend!

Have a wonderful Fall Break, and we look forward to seeing you back soon!


🎃🦇👻🎃🦇👻 Trunk or Treat! : Mark you calendars : our annual Trunk Or Treat event is Friday, October 25th from 4:00 - 5:30. If would like to contribute to support a teacher's car / trunk, donations can be dropped off at the front office. Thanks! 🎃🦇👻🎃🦇👻


🏛️Innovation Center Behaviors: Students, please remember to follow all school rules while on site at the Innovation Center. Parents and Students: the use of cell phones is not permitted during class time. They cause a distraction to other in person learners.

💻Classroom Routines: By now, students should be familiar with their daily routines and expectations. Please continue to encourage them to stay organized and focused as they adapt to the new school year.

✅ Attendance Submission: Remember to submit your attendance via My Hours. This helps us keep track of your participation and ensures we can provide the necessary supports for your learning. Your attendance is crucial, so please make sure to submit it on time.

Spirit Week✨

🛑Innovation Center CLOSED - Thursday, October 24th

The Innovation Center will be CLOSED on October 24th for a private event.

There will be K-8 NO IN-PERSON SUPPORT on Thursday, October 24th.

The 9th-12th Grade Learning Lab will still be open for highschool students ONLY!

Digital Citizenship | Spirit Week!

Aspire Students participated in Digital Citizenship Spirit week -

showcasing their understanding of the importance of digitial citizenship! 💻⚠

On Monday, students were online *superheroes*🦸‍♀️ - protecting their digital information!

Students in Mrs. Costello's class were *shining bright* in their neon to highlight🟨 creators of digital work!

As creators, we need to be aware of copyright law and the appropriate ways to use original work responsibly with fair use. Being a creator means giving credit where credit is due, and getting credit for your original work!

Thursday students wore their *thinking caps* as a reminder that media balance⚖ is good for our health!

Watch this video from Common Sense Education (<2 minutes) to help us with finding media balance in our lives.


Kinder-third grade students also participated in "bring a stuffy to school"!

Mrs. Thomas and her Community Service Club cleaned up around the Innovation Center!

Aspire K-8 Families and Teachers gathered this week to honor our hardworking students with our Quarter 1 Rewards Ceremony! Students and families were able to celebrate accomplishments in-person and via Zoom! Congrats to all students for their hard work this first quarter!


Also shout out to Mrs. Keene for organizing this amazing event!

Mrs. Chernek's Biology students transplanted plants🌱 into the plant tower!
