Reading and Spelling test with be on Friday, November 22, 2024.

Math Skills for the week:

The students will: Learn how to use Frames and Arrow to add and subtract and take our Unit 3 Assessment. We will also introduce length and measurement.

Vocabulary words: Frames, arrow, rule, length, measurement.

Students will learn to use Frames and Arrows

Students will use the Frames and Arrows strategy to practice skips counting or to find the rule when the numbers are given.

Number lines

Students need to be fluent in using the number line counting on and counting back.

Students will learn to measure length.

Students will use multiple materials to measure items.

I would like to thank you for coming to parent/teacher conferences. I enjoyed talking to you about the progress and growth your child has made so far in first grade.
