Position Description for part-time (16-20 hrs/week) Psychology Office Assistant.
Start Date: This position is currently scheduled to begin May 1st, but there is flexibility if needed.
Description: Seeking a motivated, detail oriented, organized, and professional individual to assist Dr. Thomas Brunner with running his independent psychology practice. Dr. Brunner has worked as a clinical, forensic, sports and talent development psychologist for over 20 years.
This position includes a variety of administrative tasks including client scheduling, processing intake documents, scoring measurement data, and correspondence with professionals in allied fields. Responsibilities also include maintaining an organized and efficient billing procedure by communicating with all clients about appointment costs and providing regular updates on the status of their appointment expenses. This is a paid, part-time position. Pay will be adjusted to experience and skills. Starting rate $15-$22/hr.

Requirements
· Must be able to commute to Dr. Brunner's office in midtown Tucson
· Must be able to commit to working for at least 8 months
· Preferred minimum of 3.3 Cumulative GPA
· Minimum of one previous employment position of at least 6 months
· Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs
· Proficient in Google Workspace (e.g. google drive, documents, sheets)
· Demonstrated ability to work independently in a self-paced environment
· Ability to provide at least 2-3 professional references, one of which having directly supervised your work for 6 at least months
· At least Junior or Senior in College

The Women of Color Career Connections Program is a new program that aims to enhance the career readiness of women, transwomen, and femme people of color. Through participating in this program, members will be able to develop professionally and have unique opportunities like workshops, networking events and company visits.

Then, your coach will take volunteers willing to screen-share their resumes, so the coach can give you personalized feedback and action steps. In this 35-minute info session, the internship coach team will cover some of the myths vs realities about internships so you can leave with information to help you decide on your next steps.
