Wells Weekly Update
Week of November 18th
Attendance Matters
Dear Parents,
We have to improve our attendance. Please make sure that your child is reporting to school everyday. We want to emphasize the importance of consistent school attendance for your child(ren). Regular attendance is crucial for their academic success and overall development. Absences can hinder their understanding of key lessons and affect their progress. We appreciate your support in encouraging daily attendance, as it plays a vital role in helping them achieve their goals.
Thank you for your attention.
Best regards,
Ms. LaQuisha Knowles
PEARLS FOOD DRIVE
Parents, we invite you to support our Food Drive to assist both our community and families in need during the Holiday season. Your contributions can make a significant difference, providing essential items to those who need them most. We encourage you to donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, rice, pasta, and cereals. Together, we can make this a season of giving and kindness. Monday, November 18th is the last day to contribute to the food drive. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Literacy Night was a Success!
Athletics and Game Attendance
We want to remind you of an important policy regarding after-school activities. Please keep in mind that your child will not be permitted to participate in any after-school events or programs without an adult present. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students.
Furthermore, students are not allowed to remain on school grounds after the regular school day concludes to wait for games or other activities to begin. Instead, they must return home and come back accompanied by a parent or guardian. They need to leave with a parent or guardian as well. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Student IDs
Mentors Needed!
Parents, we need you. If you are interested in being a mentor at any level, then please click on the flyers for more information.
NO BADGE, NO RIDE POLICY
We are committed to student safety, and starting November 13th, all students will be required to have their ID badge to ride the bus. This new policy, “No Badge, No Ride,” ensures students can securely badge on and off the bus, giving parents peace of mind through the Smart Tag app.
