Our 5th graders are showing RESPECT! What a great affirmation to our students! Read the note below. This was written to Mr. Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez, my name is Larry Jacques. I am the primary bus driver for the SAISD/Starbase for all 5th grades.

In my previous 3 years of driving for Starbase, two of your 5th grade teachers...Mrs Miguel and Mrs Torres along with their corresponding 5th grade classes exemplified the BEST BEHAVIOR and RESPECT of any 5th grade class I have ever had the pleasure of transporting from Goliad to GAFB and then returning back.

I applaud your teachers for the awesome class control and their 5th grade class that followed their instructions and directions.

These two classes and their teachers represented Goliad in a manner you can be proud of.

Mrs. Everett's sub on Tuesday said Mrs. Everett's classroom was SUPER organized! She said it was the BEST experience she's had as a sub. Thanks for keeping an organized classroom and teaching your students to show respect!

- The class with the highest participation will receive a pizza party AND the teacher will get a one-hour lunch!

- A school bus will transport to and from Goliad one time.

PTO thanks all who helped make the fall festival successful. As soon as they receive totals, they will let us know the results of the fundraiser!

Mondays in November are for Mrs. Young!

Donate $5 to wear jeans with a pink shirt on Mondays in November. This is optional but a fun way to show our support for Mrs. Young. All $$$ will be donated to help with expenses! Give money to Erika! We love you Mrs. Young!

Check out the order forms for the card boxes in the lounge. The cost is $30. Out of that, $13 goes to Mrs. Young! The other $17 goes towards the cost of the cards. There is also a 2.48 added for taxes.

Bracelets are still available in Mrs. Everett's classroom! Last week is the last week. She has about 50 left. Let's sell these and give all profits to Mrs. Young!

Feel free to host your own mini fundraiser in your grade level/classroom!

On behalf of all of us at Goliad, we gave Mrs. Amaro a bouquet of white roses to let her know we are with her during this rough time.

The hospitality committee decided on Pepe's for our Christmas Party! More details to come!
