Principal News & Notes: April 2025
The Home Stretch
Dear Cougar Families,
As we step into the final marking period of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate all that we have accomplished together. The past three marking periods have been filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments that showcase the dedication of our students, staff, and families. Our students have demonstrated incredible progress academically, socially, and emotionally. From mastering new math concepts to diving into exciting books, from engaging in hands-on science experiments to expressing creativity through art and music, our school has been buzzing with curiosity and achievement. Beyond the classroom, we have seen remarkable acts of kindness, teamwork, and leadership from our students, fostering a warm and inclusive school community. We are also proud of the many events and initiatives that have brought us together—whether it was our school-wide assemblies, field trips, spirit weeks, or service projects. These moments have strengthened our connections and reminded us of the power of a supportive learning environment.
As we enter this final stretch, let’s continue to work together to ensure a strong finish. Attendance, engagement, and perseverance will be key in making the most of these last weeks. We encourage our students to set goals, stay focused, and embrace every learning opportunity that comes their way.
Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. Your involvement in your child’s education makes all the difference, and we are grateful to have such a dedicated school community.
Let’s make this final marking period the best one yet!

Congratulations, Ms. Clark!
I am thrilled to announce that Ms. Clark will join us as an Assistant Principal next year. This year she has served as our Assistant School Administrator, which is very similar and is doing a fantastic job. With our growing population of students, the county has allocated for an Assistant Principal next year. Please join me in congratulation Ms. Clark!
All Things MCAP
