PTO Fundraiser Information
Next PTO Meeting: November 9 @ 1:00
Once again, the PTO is asking for a onetime donation to support all the activities we provide to the AGS community. Similar to the past 2 years we will not have any other fundraisers and won't be asking students to sell anything. We can't do this without your support.
The top 3 classes with donations will get a special secret prize related to the Make it and Cake it theme. Don't forget to enter your child's SRT teacher at the end of checkout.
A school wide prize from Mr. Rettenmund and Mr. Seath will be earned if we reach our $6,000 dollar goal.
Thank you for supporting the AGS community!

Free Digital Library Card
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move forward into the school year, we have noticed that it would be helpful if your child had a library card for the Genesee District Library. This is a free resource for all who live in Genesee County, and allows students and families instant access to digital book downloads and audio books. By having a library card, students will be able to access a broader variety of books, which will give them more opportunities to find genres and authors they enjoy.
This year, the Genesee District Library is doing a pilot program with our district to help all students obtain access to digital resources. Below is a link to register your student for a digital library card. We are asking that you please take 2-3 minutes to sign your student up for a digital card so that they can obtain access to audio books and ebooks in their English class. The link closes on Tuesday, November 7, so we are asking you to sign up as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us help your student get their hands on books they will love.

Next Week's Theme: Bravery
WHAT DOES BRAVERY MEAN?
You act with mental, moral, or
physical strength even when you
know things are difficult or scary.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Finding strength to overcome our fears is
an important part of growing up. A person
can be brave every single day. For
example, some people with social anxiety
are brave just by leaving their house and
talking with people. Physical bravery
allows us to overcome fears, such as
swimming or playing a sport. Moral
bravery is doing the right thing, even when
those around us choose not to.
“She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not
blow her away, she adjusted her sails.”

FHS E-Sports Fundraiser
You may have already heard that the Esports team is having a fundraiser, but I wanted to share the flyer and give more information to all of you. On Friday, November 10th, from 4:00-6:00 PM, Last Level will be donating the entry fees made to the team. Last Level is an arcade with both board and video games from every era. I encourage you to come at some point and to invite friends/family, as anyone who comes will be raising money for the team. The money will go toward getting new equipment for the growing team, as well as offsetting prices for jerseys for new players. Below is a picture of the flyer if you want to share and spread the word.
