Is your Child Ready for Kindergarten?
There are 3 months left of this school year! This chart provides you with the skills your child should master before they begin Kindergarten to ensure a successful start. Use this to guide your instruction, and what to specifically focus on over the next few months.
Remember, learning happens in a multitude of ways. You don't have to rely on just one activity to teach concepts. If you would like ideas, please access the links that we have provided above, or reach out to your teacher. We are happy to help with anything you and your family may need.
TK Park Day
Our TK Park Day was a huge success! Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend. We had such a wonderful time "spreading the love" before Valentines Day. For those of you who were unable to attend, we sure missed you! We are planning one more park day in May to celebrate the end of a wonderful year, and we hope ALL TK families will be able to come. We will keep you updated as we finalize our plans.
Letter Identification and Sound Recognition Resource
If your child is in need of additional letter identification and sound resources, please try out this sweet little video. We recommend having your child watch this EVERY DAY. You will be shocked at how quickly your child begins to retain their letters and sounds.
