Home ROARS Matrix
Here are some tips for you to introduce the matrix in your home:
- Introduce one part of the rubric at a time. For example, start with one area of your home, teach the behaviors, and allow your child to practice.
- Use the language on the rubric when speaking with your child about behavior.
- Hang a copy of the rubric in your home to support what you are teaching.
- When your child demonstrates positive behavior, give them specific praise. Instead of saying, "Good job at dinner!" You can say, "You did a great job showing respect at the dinner table tonight when you kept your electronics turned off and you stayed at the table for the whole meal!"
You can download a copy of the Home Matrix below!
Children's Miracle Network - CSCS Helping to Make A Difference!
Celebrate this Tuesday by wearing a shirt with your favorite animal/pet on it!
It is amazing to know how many in or own community have relied on the Children's Miracle Network to help during difficult times of a child being sick or injured. Here at CSCS we will be using our left over change to donate to this great cause and be a "Change Hero!".
Attached below is the flier that went home to families!
If you, or someone you know, may be a great substitute please have them contact the main office and we would be glad to talk to them about the flexibility and benefits of working at our amazing school!
