We continue state testing this week. Below are some reminders for success!

• Get good night's sleep/rest
• Eat a healthy breakfast
• Charge and bring Chromebook
• Each student needs to bring their headphones/earbuds with a cord - no bluetooth
• Don't stress, no pressure, just try hard and do your best

Thank you to all who supported our Spring Book Fair and our Lemurs! This was the best Spring Book Fair Leaman Elementary has had so far! Way to go everybody!

Our final monthly focus for the year is "Effort" in May. We will encourage and model "Effort" for students as they continue state testing and finish out the year. This time of year, students tend to get tired and ready for summer, but we are still learning and still need our Lemurs to give their best effort each day. Please encourage and support them at home with this focus. Best Effort students will be selected from each class for ice cream with the principal at the end of May. Thank you!

It's baseball and Lincoln Potters season! We are partnering with the Lincoln Potters to fundraise for Leaman and promote families having fun at Potters games! We will have a Leaman Family Night at the Potters game on May 28th. Our Leaman Choir will sing the national anthem, and it will be a fun family night of baseball! Key Registration Dates

• Late March / Early April 2024 - TK class and school assignment notification
• June 9, 2024 - Intra-District Transfer Request Deadline for Grades K – 8
• July 31, 2024 - Second window to submit a Intra-District transfer request opens (High Schools only)
• Summer 2024 – Online registration submission will continue to be accepted through the summer and paperwork can be handed into the District Office while schools are closed.

For Staff Appreciation Week, PTO set up treats and fun items each day for our team in our staff room, including lunch on Friday! Thank you for all the goodies, Leaman PTO!

We are now in the last 4 weeks of the school year. It is so busy with end-of-year activities, state testing, and planning for the final weeks of school. Hang in there, and keep up the effort for the final month! We got this Lemurs! Have Fun!
