This Week at Creek

Below is our fall finals schedule. Tech school students will attend their tech schools as scheduled and we will accommodate an alternate time for them to take their TCHS final(s).

If your student plans to sign out after finals, they may submit THIS (Spanish) form to the attendance office.

If your student submitted their completed form, there is no need to come into the building to sign them out. Please note that students will be released at 11:30 am.

If you are coming to the building to sign your student out after finals, please:

DO

- bring a photo ID

- be patient with our staff as they will be handling a large number of sign-outs

DO NOT

- text or call your student and tell them to come to the office, our staff will do this

- come prior to 11:30 am as all students need to remain for the entire testing time

Beginning Monday, December 23d, all FCPS schools will be closed for Winter Break. Please note that we are asking our staff to step away from work responsibilities during this time so any correspondence will be delayed. We look forward to welcoming our students back for the 2nd semester on January 7th. The next weekly newsletter will be sent on Sunday, January 5th, 2025.

Current high school sophomores and juniors are invited to apply for the 2025 summer program; applicants can apply in up to two of GSA's nine artforms:

• Creative Writing

• Dance

• Design ( formerly know as Architecture and Design)

• Drama

• Film + Photography

• Instrumental Music

• Musical Theatre

• Visual Art

• Vocal Music

Governor's School for the Arts is a tuition-free residential summer program for passionate and talented young artists. The application is open until January 12th. You may see Mrs. Miller, BEE academy counselor, for more information or visit www.kentuckygsa.org
