Attention Juniors and Junior Parents Lindbergh High School College and Career Readiness Assessment – Spring 2025
In Spring 2025, all Juniors at Lindbergh High School will have the opportunity to take a college or career readiness assessment. These assessments measure your abilities and help predict future academic and occupational success. Depending on your post-high school plans, you can choose the assessment that best aligns with your goals:
I plan to attend a 2-year community or technical college.
The Accuplacer is the recommended test for you. It is a series of tests that assess your skills in reading, writing, and math, helping college administrators place you in the appropriate courses.I plan to attend a 4-year college or university after graduation.
The ACT is the recommended test for you. The ACT is a widely used entrance exam for colleges and universities, covering subjects such as math, reading, English, and science.I plan to enlist in the military, enter the workforce, or I am unsure of my plans.
The ASVAB is the recommended test for you. The ASVAB assesses your strengths in science, math, and language. It is required for military enlistment but is also helpful in identifying your skills and interests, even if you're undecided about your future plans. The ASVAB can guide your course selection for college and help with career decisions.
The form in SchoolLinks needs to be completed by Wednesday, October 23rd. Students, you can sign into SchoolLinks here to make the choice.
Halloween Guidelines for Students Tuesday, October 31st is Halloween. Here are some guidelines for anyone who chooses to wear any kind of costume to school: No masks or outfits that conceal the face, fake blood or gore, weapons or imitation weapons. Nothing that would violate our ordinary dress code policy when it comes to exposure of skin. Everything has to be school appropriate and it cannot distract from the educational environment on that day (inflatables, e.g.)

Head Lice Screening Reminder
Head lice are a common problem, especially among school-aged children and their families. Our district is not seeing a rise in cases at this time; however, it is common to see additional cases around Halloween, as people try on costumes and headpieces in stores. As a precaution, we want to provide families with prevention tools and inform you of district practices. Head lice can be a nuisance, but they have not been shown to spread disease. In addition, personal hygiene or cleanliness in the home or school has nothing to do with getting head lice. Please click the link below for additional information.
District Communications Survey - We Want to Hear from You!
