September Meaux Model Students enjoyed having their parents join them for a special lunch date on September 26th in our school cafeteria. Special seating for our guests was provided. Students who are named as Meaux Model Students representing their class each month have a special lunch date set aside to have their parents for lunch. Shown here are some who attended our first lunch of the year.

Jr. BETA members enjoyed reading to the Pre K students! As part of our literacy initiative, Jr. BETA students were paired up with Pre K to spend some special time together reading. Jr. BETA members enjoyed reading to the Pre K students! We thank our pre-K students for being great listeners.

Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday October 16, 2024 for all parents of students in PreK through 5th grade at Meaux Elementary. Students do not report to school on this day. Teachers will be reaching out to you to schedule an in person conference. Parents who are unable to attend may request a Zoom call or phone call to discuss student progress. Student report cards will be distributed during this conference. If you are unable to attend, your child's report card will be sent home on Thursday, October 17th.

Meaux Elementary students who have consistently followed our PBIS rules and expectations since the start of the school year and have no office referrals in the first nine weeks, will be treated to a special Fall Fest Event to be held on Friday, October 18th in our school gym. Students will participate in many fun 'fall' themed games during their designated time. We wish to thank all of our parent/guardian volunteers who have graciously offered to help out so that this is a successful and fun time for our students. We couldn't do it without your help and support.
