Dear Everitt Families:
We had a wonderful Halloween this week at Everitt. More students than ever were dressed up. Below are some photos from the day.
Speaking of Halloween, if you just haven't had enough, our Musical Theatre classes will be performing Zombies: the Musical on Friday evening. You can get your last spooky fix (and learn a little about being kind to each other). Enjoy pictures from both performances below!
We started a new virtual pass system this week. Students access passes for the restroom, library, drinking fountains, etc. via their chromebooks. This new system allows students to move in the hallways without a physical pass. All of our regular pass policies are still in place. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Thank you for supporting and believing in your neighborhood school. It is our privilege to partner with you!

School Enrollment Survey
Complete the School Enrollment Survey
Your input matters! We want to know why you chose the school your student attends and what school programs matter most to you. Please take 10-15 minutes to complete the School Enrollment Survey by Friday, November 17 and help shape the future of Jeffco’s schools. Your feedback will help us improve the enrollment process and provide programming that best meets your family’s educational needs. Please note: You only need to take the survey once for all students in your household. The survey is anonymous. It is available in English, Spanish, Russian and Vietnamese.

Hazel Health Message
Dear Everitt Families,
Mental, social and emotional wellness of students is a priority that we share with our community and one that we are addressing with layers of support including school counselors, social emotional learning specialists, school psychologists, social workers along with partnerships with outside agencies like Hazel Health.
This year, we continue our partnership with Hazel Health’s Telehealth services to provide a free telehealth extension of mental and physical health support for Jeffco students enrolled at district-managed schools accessed at home with a parent/guardian. Charter school families should connect with their student's school to learn more.
Parents/guardians may access these services on behalf of your student by visiting this webpage and following the instructions for – Steps to Access Care.
Why Should Families Take Advantage of Hazel Health Services?
Our priority is for students to be healthy and ready to learn. Hazel Health connects you with healthcare providers through virtual telehealth, so your student can get the care they need from your home.
Quick and easy access to a self-referral system with minimal or no wait times.
If your student is suffering from anxiety, depression, grief/loss, bullying, academic stress or more, Hazel Health therapists can help them!
All Hazel Health providers serving Jeffco students possess the appropriate Colorado credential for their profession, whether to practice medicine (i.e. medical doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant) or provide mental health services.
We encourage you to take advantage of these no-cost Hazel Health Services for your student’s well-being. You can access this service right now by visiting our webpage to learn more and begin the referral process.
Let’s work together to ensure our students have a happy and healthy school year.

QPR Training for Parents & Caregivers
Attend a Life Saving Training. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to:
- recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis
- how to ask someone directly if they are feeling suicidal
- how to refer someone to help
This session will be delivered with parents and caregivers in mind. While the information taught in this training is applicable to all people of all ages, we will spend extra time focusing on how this applies to the youth in our lives.
