DeSoto County Schools has moved to a new online payment platform for parents, guardians, or patrons. RevoPay will no longer support online payments.

Our new online payment system, OSP (Online Student Payments) is now available to take payments. Please be sure to use this platform when paying your student’s fee(s). Information regarding access to the OSP payment site is on the DeSoto County Schools and individual school websites. Instructions on how to access and use the new online program are attached.

We are continuing our unit on Astronomy: Our Solar System and Beyond. Your child will learn about galaxies, stars, and constellations.

Standards:

RI.3.1 - Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for the answers.

RI.3.2 - Determine the main idea of a text; recount the key details and explain how they support the main idea.

RI.3.3 - Describe the relationship between a series of historical events, scientific ideas or concepts, or steps in technical procedures in a text, using language that pertains to time, sequence, and cause/effect.

We are excited to be using Into Math as our math curriculum this year. Into Math is broken down into "modules." Each module has a topic and lessons that support that topic.

Each week we will share parent resources. These resources will help you know what we are working on during each module.
