Welcome to 2025!
2025 is here, and we were so excited to see our students on January 7th. Staff spent time welcoming students back along with reviewing learning expectations! Each class spent some time celebrating the class community and setting goals for the winter and spring.
Thinking out about Hisle community, we're thrilled to host our first "WatchDog Kick-off" this Thursday, January 16th. WatchDogs are male volunteers that spend one day on campus to read to children, play at recess, and walk the halls! A WatchDog can be a dad, an uncle, a grandfather that wants to experience a day at Hisle! Ms. Fields will share "the what to do to sign-up" along with reviewing expectations. We hope to see you there!
Remember, Hisle Hounds howl loud and proud!

21 Days
Hello Hisle Families, Welcome back and Happy New Year!! Please join me on a three-week nutrition education program designed to help elementary students improve their snacking habits. Kids Teach Kids has hit it out of the park with this program and I am excited to share it with our students and I hope you will join us on this journey and encourage your child/children to make healthy choices and help them create healthy habits.
Check out the video attached and be on the lookout for signs in the drive lines and stickers coming with your child about how to get signed up and join the challenge. Sign ups run January 14-21 with the 21 day challenge starting on Jan. 21 and going through Feb. 10. I will be talking to the kids during PE this week and I will have a banner hanging in the MPR. Once I start getting a list of those students participating, I will have those children sign the banner. When the challenge starts, you can take pictures of the snacks they are making and send them to me for me to share and encourage others. Thanks for accepting the challenge to get our children making healthy choices and on the road to a healthy lifestyle.
