Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Scholarship - Pi Nu Nu Chapter
The Pi Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is seeking applicants for its annual scholarship program. Each year the chapter awards scholarships to deserving Newton and Rockdale County High School male seniors.
Requirements:
Student must be a graduating male student from a Rockdale County High School
Pursue a 4-year undergraduate from an accredited college or university
Be a U.S. Citizen
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Must not be the recipient of a full scholarship
Deadline is March 31, 2025 - No Incomplete applications will be accepted
Submission Criteria:
In addition to the application, please include the following support materials: • An essay outlining your educational and vocational goals. Essays should be no more than two pages. • An official transcript that includes Fall 24-25 grades. • A current photo. • Two (2) letters of recommendation addressing your character and ability to achieve academically in college. One letter should be from one of the applicant’s high school teachers or adult mentors. (Not to exceed one and half page typed page)

Greene Dobbs Memorial Scholarship - March 25th DUE DATE
The Grenee McCollum-Dobbs Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to 1 graduating senior
from the Rockdale County Public School System each year. This student can be self-nominated
or nominated by a member of the school’s faculty or staff (principal, teacher, counselor, etc.)
for odds they’ve overcome, potential they show or hardships they’ve endured.

24-25 Magnolia Scholarship Application - DUE Date June 1, 2024
The Magnolia (GA) of The Links, Incorporated has been serving and strengthening communities in the Atlanta metro area for 30 years. To continue this effort, we are offering high school seniors the opportunity to apply for the following scholarships.
Information regarding scholarship application requirements are listed below:
Eligibility is limited to current high school seniors who will be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) undergraduate college degree program or accredited trade school during the 2024-2025 school year.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in high school.
Each applicant must complete a scholarship application by clicking on the link below and submit it along with the following required documents:

The Magnolia (GA) Links scholarship provides a one-time scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to pay for tuition, books, computers, accommodation, and any other educational expenses.

Delta Mu Mu -Omega Psi Phi Scholarship - Due Date April 30, 2025
The Omega/DMM Scholarship is specifically designed to support African American young men who are graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in college and pursuing an undergraduate degree.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- African American males only.
- Must be either:
- A spring 2025 graduating high school senior who has been accepted, full-time, to an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S. for the fall of 2025 OR
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
- Possess a grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system (or equivalent on an alternative system)
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Be a U.S. citizen and resident of Georgia from the metro Atlanta area.
The Covington-Conyers Choral Guild Scholarship - DUE Date - April 1, 2025
The Covington-Conyers Choral Guild is pleased to offer a scholarship program for graduates of Newton and Rockdale County public schools, private schools, and homeschool - the Joni Jones Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is named in memory of our accompanist of 30 years, Joni Brooks Jones, a music educator in Rockdale County. The scholarship is offered to students who plan to pursue a voice-related music degree program and awards up to $1,000 based on the student’s academic and artistic achievement, teacher recommendation, and financial need.
To apply, please complete the application below and return it to the Scholarship Coordinator by April 1, 2025.
RCPS Foundation Scholarship - DEADLINE March 31st
$1,000 scholarship to a qualifying senior at each of the following schools: Heritage High School, Rockdale County High School, Rockdale Magnet School, and Salem High School, awarded by the RCPS Foundation.
Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to achievement and intend to continue their education at a college/university or technical school upon high school graduation.
To apply, a student must be on target to graduate in May 2025, have been admitted to a college or technical school for the 2025-2026 school year, have not received a full-tuition scholarship, and complete an application, including the video essay portion. Deadline is March 31, 2025.
Phil Bennett Memorial Scholarship - DUE May 31, 2025
The Georgia Collectors Association offers up to $1,500 in scholarship(s) each year divided among selected qualifying candidate(s). This scholarship is offered to high school seniors, college students, or those attending vocational training.
Applicants must write an original essay (minimum of 1,000 words) on the
“The Importance of Credit to a Young Person.” The application is below.
This application is for High School Graduates or GED/HS Equivalency certified students applying to a post-secondary college, university or technical program for the first time.
The deadline to submit this application and all of the supplemental requirements is 5pm EST on MAY 2

Scholarship awards range from $1000-$5000 with opportunities for additional/supplemental scholarships based on the merit and quality of the responses submitted. Failure to answer questions completely and provide all requested information will result in disqualification for scholarship award.
PHI OMICRON ZETA Phi Beta Scholarship - DUE - March 31st
This non-renewable $1,000 scholarship targets students currently enrolled in a Newton or Rockdale County high school. The scholarship is awarded based on merit, financial and available funding by Phi Omicron Zeta Chapter.
Eligibility:
A resident and currently enrolled in a Rockdale or Newton County High School
Graduating High School Senior
Pursuing an Associate or Baccalaureate Academic Degree beginning Fall 2025
Complete and submit the scholarship application form
Requirements:
Submission of online Scholarship Application.
The application will require you to upload a headshot, a college acceptance letter for Fall 2025, a 250-word essay, all SAT/ACT test scores, and submit two (2) letters of recommendation in a sealed envelope. Please have these on hand when you start the application process.

Application: PHI OMICRON ZETA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
National Council of Negro Women (Rockdale-Newton Section) Scholarship
The Rockdale-Newton NCNW Section (RNS) created the Scholarship to help students in Rockdale and Newton counties who are not necessarily top of their class, but are hardworking, diligent and aspire to continue their education.
Thus, the target for the scholarships are high school seniors who have been admitted to a college, university or trade school who have a GPA between 2.0 – 2.99. Our application process includes a short-written essay and 3 minute or less video.
