Additionally, any students in need of a locker in the new building should email Mr. Thomas at lthomas@wscloud.org. As soon as lockers are assigned, students will receive an email to their wscloud account with their locker number and instructions for setting a combination. Mr. Thomas will also be available to walk students through the setup.
Cell Phone Policy
As we close the first week of school, it is possible that your student has brought up cell phone use at school. In conjunction with Governor DeWine's recent legislation concerning cell phones and schools, Worthington High Schools will work to become more formalized and consistent on how cell phone use is supervised.
Dr. Bowers shared a blog post on his perspective on the cell phone issue in July. The district will collect feedback over the course of this year to better create a policy for the 25-26 (and beyond) school year, per the Governor's bill.
The policy is basic. Cell phones should not be used during class time, but can be used during lunch, passing time, and before/after school.
23 -24 Yearbook Distribution
If you did not pick up your yearbook at orientation, yearbook staff are diligently working to distribute them to students in their classes. We will have distributed all of them by the end of next week. Please be patient as we work to hand them out.
TWHS Theatre Production of 12 Angry Jurors
12 Angry Jurors is a play that contemplates the huge responsibility of 12 ordinary people as they consider the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murder. The 12 jurors bring their own histories, prejudices, and biases to the jury room as they work through this life or death decision. Come and hear the evidence and decide for yourself of the young man’s guilt or innocence.
The performance will be presented on the KMS stage at 7:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased online starting
Monday, September 9th at 12:00 pm
School Lunch Free & Reduced Application
Worthington Schools offers breakfast and lunch to students. Pricing for meals will be based on family eligibility. New Meal Applications are required for families every school year. Families may find the online Free/Reduced Lunch Eligibility Form HERE. All students use their Lunch ID for meals. The student's number can be found in the Parent Portal by selecting the Student ID tab and then look for their student's Lunch PIN.
Families may add money to their lunch account through My Payments Plus. They may also use My Payments Plus to track their student's account and see much money remains on it. My Payments Plus is also used to pay other fees, like high school parking permits and AP testing fees.
