CISD Tech Weekly Update

During our second Book Creator Training, Lovell discovered the Pen Tool which gives the user the following choices: Draw with a Pen, Paintbrush, Crayon, Highlighter, and AutoDraw. With the AutoDraw tool, you start to draw an object, and Book Creator will suggest some images of what you are trying to draw. Click on the image for more info.

Book Creator is designed to teach students by getting them excited about creating their own books on the topics they are learning about. Students can upload images, choose from emojis, make recordings and videos, and create and then share a finished book they wrote. Shout-out to the high school for successfully administering the first ACT Online test! Nineteen high school students took the test in the comfort of their own familiar surroundings as part of their normal school day! Thanks to Ms. Heard, Ms. Shelli and Chris for working through all the technical test preparations. Just like all our benchmarks, NWEA MAP testing and STAAR 2.0, there are many steps to take ahead of time to prepare for online testing. It takes a dedicated team to make it work!
