Koats 4 Kids has been providing new coats, boots, snow pants, hats and gloves to kids in need for years. They have reached out to us to see if we have any kids that might be in need of some warm winter gear this year. Please email icsecretary@boscocatholic.org with items needed and sizes. All information will be kept confidential. Distribution will start in October.
What Are Our Teachers Up To?
Hello, everyone! My name is Kaileb Armbruster. I am currently in my 9th year of teaching, and all 9 are proudly at BCSS! I am so excited to continue my teaching journey with such an amazing school district. I teach middle school religion class and social studies class. This has been a great year so far with many more great things to come. We are just kicking off one of my favorite events of the year with the Fun Run! I cannot wait to see how our school and community responds to the call again this year!
This year I am lucky enough to get to teach an elective! I chose to teach Outdoor Activities. I had a bunch of students sign up to participate in this. So far we have done some golf lessons, four square, and blitzball! I have plans to incorporate other things such as nature walks, pickleball, outdoor games, and many more! Let’s have a great year and let’s go Dons!

Youth Choir Open to All
As I've been learning to manage life in a new way, the youth choir at Immaculate Conception has been on hold. I would like to slowly start bringing that back because the kids do such a great job, and our church community enjoys seeing the youth contribute to our parish in such a vibrant way.
The youth choir is for any student in grades 3-12 with an interest in singing. High school students can use this time towards their service hours. We sing at the 10 AM Mass - typically one or two Sundays a month. Students can come up to the front of the church by the piano when they arrive at church with their families. I will put the youth choir schedule in the school newsletters and the church bulletin.
The next youth choir date is Sunday, October 6, at the 10 AM Mass. I hope to see you there!
Please reach out with any questions. nknepper@boscocatholic.org

Steubenville: NEW! This summer we are looking to take a group to a Steubenville Youth conference. At the conference, students will experience great music, listen to engaging speakers, and learn more about our Catholic faith. The trip is from Friday- Sunday. If you are interested in attending, please fill out this Google form. Students currently in grades 8-12 are welcome to attend.
