THANK YOU to our Book Fair Coordinators Molly Hock, Kelly Steyskal & Susan Little and to everyone who volunteered their time to make the Book Fair happen this year!

Get Ready to Party!
Brighton PTO is hosting an All School Monster Mash to celebrate the season.
TIME: 4:30-6PM Preschool-2nd Grade // 6-7:30PM 3RD-8TH
The two time slots are not strict, but an attempt to split up the amount of people coming through the school. In addition, the earlier time will be catered more towards the younger kids.
FOOD: Two food trucks will be available to purchase food from (pizza & hot dogs). The 8th graders are also doing a fundraiser and will have some treats available! The staff parking lot, south of the Gym, will have a covered tent and seating area.
ACTIVITIES: A DJ will be playing from 4:30-7:30pm in the Gym. A professional Photo Booth with free print-outs will be set up. 8 stations of Trick-or-Treating will be set up throughout the school from 5-7pm. We will have lots of fun decorations up as well! We encourage everyone to wear their costumes!
COST: $15 per person. Everyone will need a ticket/wristband to enter (both adults & kids). This covers the cost of the event and any proceeds will go to the PTO. Purchase your tickets now & save time at the door! Your wristbands will be available for pickup the week of the event. We also can send them home with your child if you email us to give your OK.
PARKING: The Brighton Spooky Buses will be running from 4:30-7:30. Park at Evergreen Playfield (~ 0.5 miles from school), located at 22205 56th Ave West, Mountlake Terrace (map).

๐ SCRIP
Raise Money for the PTO with your everyday shopping with SCRIP
What It Is: Purchase physical or e-gift cards through Raise Right and a portion goes to the PTO. Hundreds of stores participate: some popular ones are Starbucks (4.5%), Safeway (4%), Amazon (1.6%), Target (2.5%), Macy's (10%). You pay the full amount of the gift card and Raise Right sends the rebate straight to the PTO account.
How It Works: Go HERE to find details on how to sign up. You can sign up with the Raise Right App or online. E-gift cards go onto the app and can be scanned in store. You can mail physical cards to your house.
Group Gifting for Staff with SCRIP: Twice a year (Holiday Season & Teacher Appreciation Week), the PTO organizes an opportunity for families to contribute to the staff, which is completely voluntary. The money is pooled and staff receive a note of appreciation detailing all the families that contributed (amounts are not listed). The staff member uses that pooled amount to buy SCRIP cards of their choice. More details to come in November for the holiday gift giving.
Questions: E-mail Sonja Dwyer, SCRIP Coordinator, at scrip@brightonpto.com anytime!
