#2 4-Day School Week Survey Results

Thank you all for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding the potential transition to a 4-day school week next year. Your shared thoughts, suggestions, and questions are greatly appreciated.


The board and administration are still carefully considering this possibility. In this process we are really being thoughtful and intentional about the feedback and potential positive/negative impacts.

#3 Testing Month = Be Well-Rested 😴

Statewide testing will take place this month for grades 3rd-8th and 11th. Please make sure your student(s) is/are well-rested and eats a healthy breakfast on test days.

#4 Calling all sweet-toothed supporters for Dia del Niño 🍬

Every year at Four Riv, Mexican culture comes alive during Día del Niño where we celebrate the wonder of childhood! This celebration is just around the corner, April 26, and we need your help to make it a sugar-filled success! Please consider donating your favorite candies to delight the kids (we put them in piñatas). Donations can be dropped off at the front desk with Mercy. Thank you!

Malheur County Spelling Bee 🔤

We are so incredibly proud of our amazing students who represented Four Riv at the Malheur County Spelling Bee on March 14. Extra shoutout to Selena who placed 2nd in 5th grade and Liam who placed 3rd representing 7th grade. With words like, proficuous, schull, platypus, and simultaneously, our Falcons gave it their all!


And thank you to Priscilla Valero and family for treating our Spelling Bee crew to some pie at the Plaza Inn on Pi Day after their eventful day!

Summer Academic Support 🔆

This year we will be offering Summer programming to students in need of additional academic support. Student selection will be based on teacher recommendations. The goal is to provide small group intensive instruction in core subject areas.

8th Grade Field Trip 📅

Hey 8th-grade parents!

Just a friendly reminder: we're super excited about all the great things planned for our 8th graders, and we don't want anyone to miss out! Please keep in mind that the second payment of $100 is due on April 22nd. Your prompt payments help us ensure everything goes smoothly for our fantastic 8th-grade activities. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. Thanks a bunch for your support – let's make these moments memorable for our kiddos!

    • April 30, 4 PM | Tennis as well as Track & Field Seniors will be honored at the Four Rivers Community School home tennis courts at the Beck Kiwanis Park during the Sr. Prep Tennis Match against Homedale. We hope to see our Falcon families and supporters at this special event to recognize our Senior athletes.
