Dear Maverick Families,

As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to thank you for being part of our amazing community. I am grateful for your continued support, your energy, and the connections we've built together.

This Thanksgiving, I encourage you to take some time to relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. Whether you're spending time with loved ones, enjoying some quiet moments, or simply savoring the season, I hope you find space to reflect on all the things you're thankful for.

Wishing you a peaceful and joyful holiday. May it be filled with warmth, gratitude, and moments of calm.

All students and staff will return to campus on Monday, December 2nd.

Our eNews will resume on December 3rd.

Morton Ranch Junior High is excited to invite us to their 4th annual community cook out on November 21, 2024, from 5:30-7:00 pm.

This event is completely free for the entire family. There will be free food, games, prizes, performances, and several community vendors.

Kids will have the opportunity to take pictures with special guests like HEB BUDDY and more!

Thank you to all of our students, staff and families that have donated socks last week! We will continue to collect socks through Friday, November 22nd. Please send any new socks with your Maverick. Socks can be dropped off in the hallway near the GYM.

Our first "HOUSE" Celebration Day will take place on Friday, November 22nd. This will be a fun filled day. Celebrate with your WACKIEST house color outfits...tutus,. glasses, hats, tights, headbands, etc!

**We are looking for PARENT VOLUNTEERS for our first HOUSE CELEBRATION DAY. 3-5 grades will be in the AM session from 8:30-11:00 am and K-2 will be in the PM session from 12:30-3:00 pm. Please consider volunteering by clicking here.

Any volunteers working in the afternoon session AND wish to take their child home MUST submit a change of transportation to the front office no later than Friday November 22nd by noon.

The room/activity you sign up for is where you will remain for the entire session. Parents are going to be helping students with each activity accordingly. All students will visit each activity (so don’t worry! You will get to interact with your child when they arrive to your room.)

***Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session to get all information needed for your activity.

We are sorry to say that siblings will not be able to attend this event.

Messages received during Thanksgiving Break will not be monitored by campus counselors.
