December 11th-15th
Weekly News
Eagles,
We are 10 powerful days away from our HOLIDAY BREAK! Why are they powerful? Every day, every minute COUNTS with our students. They CAN be powerful when we walk in every day with PURPOSE and PASSION! Although we are thinking of those glorious days on break with no schedules, work, and cozy moments with our cup of coffee, cookies, or cocoa, let's keep our focus on achieving our goals for student learning in these last 10 days! So think about this--
1. What collaborative work can help students to successfully apply strategies?
2. What engaging texts or real-life connections to holiday activities will renew students focus on academic tasks?
3. What routines and expectations do students need to practice when they lose focus or regulation of those little bodies?
Here are a few things to keep on your dashboard as we look at completing end of the nine weeks tasks:
1. Send reminders to parents about missing work assignments.
2. Student competency entry in TAC will open at 8:00 AM, Monday, December 11th.
- Remember to NOT use the “Load From Gradebook” function for competencies.
3. Report Card Comments are due by Friday, December 15th to your appraiser.
4. Teachers may begin loading from gradebook on Monday, December 18th at 8:00 AM.
5. The grading cut-off date for report cards will be Friday, December 22nd.- Gradebooks must be RC checked by 3:30 PM on Friday, December 22nd.
