PFSO Fall Into Giving
PFSO's annual fundraiser begins Monday, October 7th and runs through October 21st!
As of Friday, October 11th: Fall Into Giving has raised $5795!
On Monday, the first raffle for students who send out 10 deliverable emails/requests will happen! Many opportunities to earn prizes!!
Fundraising Goal is $20,000 going towards:
- Teacher Goals Grants!
- Safety Upgrades!
- Teachers Wish List Items!
Earn a monthly school-wide Free Dress Day if we reach our $20k goal!

Cerro Villa named Attendance Champions for Highest Attendance Rate!
OUSD Student and Community Services awarded Cerro Villa with the Highest Attendance Champions Trophy. For the month of September, Cerro Villa had the highest attendance rate! This is a testament to our Excellent students and families, our engaging teachers, and the positive culture at Cerro Villa!
Restaurant Fundraiser - Miguels Jr.!

Parent Teacher Conferences: October 17th, 3:30pm - 5:30 pm
Parent Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 17th from 3:30pm - 5:30pm in the Viking auditorium.
At Cerro Villa, Parent Conferences are scheduled by invitation. Each teacher will designate at least 10 students who are in need for a conference. Invitations have been delivered to those students/families who are requested by teachers.
Families/students not invited for a parent conference are still welcomed to attend.
CV Family Night - October 25th
CV Family Night is Friday, October 25th from 5:30-7:00 in the CV Auditorium.
- Food will be for sale from 5:30-6:00 while we enjoy performances by CV and VP students.
- Games and crafts will be hosted by our CV clubs from 6:00-7:00. These include BINGO, origami, friendship bracelets, Lego building, Yahtzee, chess, and more!

OCTA provides free public bus passes to students who complete the following forms and return them to Mrs. Haefele. Once the form is received, she is able to provide the free bus pass!

Drop-Off / Pick-Up Safety
Please use extreme caution when dropping-off/picking-up your children. Cerro Villa is located between Serrano Elementary and Villa Park High School, creating a large amount of traffic. Please be aware of designated cross-walks on Serrano Avenue.
- Pull to the curb to drop-off/pick-up students (Do Not stop in traffic and allow students to cross into the street to exit/enter automobile.
- When dropping off in the front parking lot, please PULL ALL THE WAY FORWARD before your child exits the car.
- Students should always use the crosswalk at the Serrano curve.
- Crosswalk on Nichols/Serrano intersection is signal only - use caution
- Have a pick-up spot that works for your family.
- Traffic is most heavy between 8:05-8:15 and 2:58 - 3:10. If convenient, please drop-off/pick-up outside of these times.
