- Monday 7AM-8:20AM (Sound Crew)
- Monday 5PM-8:00PM (Sound Crew/Prop Crew)
- Wednesday 7AM-8:20AM (Sound Crew)
- Thursday 7AM-8:20AM (Sound Crew /Prop Crew)
- Friday 7AM-8:20AM (Sound Crew /Prop Crew/Equipment Crew- No instruments needed)
Normal Crew Rehearsals
- Sound Crew - ALL rehearsals unless other plan is communicated
- Prop Crew - Monday PM / Thursday / Friday

WIND SYMPHONY
- BOTH MARCHING & CONCERT INSTRUMENTS TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY
- Music memorization for movement 3 & 4
- Show Music Pass off TUESDAY-THURSDAY
WIND ENSEMBLE
Extended Rehearsals
- 12:40-12:55 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
- If you need to be excused for that time occasionally for another club/school activity, please let me know at least 1 day in advance so I can plan accordingly or possibly help you do both things.
Students not marching a spot in the competition band
- Daily Drill and Technique with a director
- All-State Music Practice and Pass-Offs for a director
Working on memorized music including 1st, 2nd, 3rd movements of marching show.
- Flutes, Clarinets, Bass Clarinets, Saxophones, Trumpets, & Trombones will play their concert instrument in class. Marching instruments will be used outside.
- All reed players will use cane reeds during inside rehearsals (synthetic reeds are for outside rehearsals and football games only)
- Oboes & Bassoons will need their oboe or bassoon AND marching instrument in class
- Horns, Euphoniums, & Tubas will play their marching instrument in class this week
SYMPHONIC WINDS

JAZZ BAND
NEW- LOCATION CHANGE FOR AUDITIONS
- Region Jazz Auditions have moved to PLANO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. Date is still Wednesday, September 20th.
- The following students owe $11 for the region jazz audition entry: Evan Christianson, Luis Flores, Landen Johnson, Trey Mecham, Bradley Quartel, Tyler Reeves, Nikita Simonenko, Alex Steckler, George Wade, Ty Walker.
We will continue to learn new tunes, new scale patterns, challenge our improvisational skills, and listen to our all-state etude performances.
PERCUSSION
Drumline Shorties
- Add the first two drumline shorties
Part 3
- Front Ensemble - Continue to learn and memorize notes
Part 4
- Battery will continue working on Part 4
All-State and All-District
- Pass-Offs for Chunk 1 of each Etude
- Timpani and 4-Mallet focus this week - reference the learning schedule
If you still do not have a time slot for private lessons, Ms. Yoon still has availability.

Rehearsal shirt colors:
*Mondays - White Shirt or Tank (AM)/White Guard Tank (PM)
Wednesdays - Pink
Thursdays - Tie-Dye
Fridays - Black (AM)/Black Guard Tank (PM)
Saturdays - White
*If logos/graphics are large, shirt can still be worn but you may be asked to turn it inside out
Class this week: Part 3 choreo! Continue to keep up with flag/rifle technique and spot clean Parts 1 & 2
- Bring all equipment to the gym EVERY day
- Do your homework! Make plans to visit your teachers/the testing center THIS WEEK. Do not wait until the last minute.
- You are responsible for taping on Part 4 flag ON YOUR OWN now. We will not take class time to do this one. Due to finish by Friday morning, 9/15. Plan ahead!

SUBSCRIBE TO THE BAND CALENDAR ON YOUR DEVICE
- Copy the URL for the Google Calendar you want to add to your iPhone
