Spring Conferences are around the corner on March 22nd and March 23rd. We will dismiss early these days at 11:40 to allow time to conference. Due to the limited amount of time, we do not conference with all parents at this time. If you have questions about your child's progress or conference, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Approximately two years ago, students were sent home for an extended period of time in which remote/distance learning and hybrid learning were soon to follow. We started this school year bringing all the students back together for the first time in a year and a half while also asking students to follow COVID protocols such as mask wearing and social distancing. While our students are resilient and amazing, this two-year experience has been challenging and has impacted each child in a variety of ways.

This historical perspective is shared because on Monday, March 14, our students will be experiencing a new chapter in this story. As we all know, masks will be optional in our building and buses starting next week.

What this means to our staff, students and visitors:

• Every individual gets to choose whether or not they will wear a mask without fear of being judged or teased

• No bullying, harassment or intimidation will be allowed based on an individual’s choice to wear or not wear a mask

• Masks will still be provided for those who choose to wear them

• Clear expectations will be shared with all students on Friday so that when we arrive to school on Monday, March 14, every individual is set up for success

We will have lost and found items out on conference days, we highly encourage you to take a peek to see if any of the items belong to your family. Any items left after that time will be donated to charity.

Please help us avoid sending items to donation by labeling your garments with your student's name. Thank you!

Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before August 31? Maybe it's your neighbor, friend or even your own child. Now’s the right time to enroll next year’s kindergarten students. The sooner you enroll, the better we can keep you informed and get prepared for your child to join us. • There has a close contact with anyone confirmed to have, or suspected to have COVID-19
• The Student has tested positive for, or is waiting on a test for COVID-19
• The student has been told to self isolate or quarantine by public health or a medical professional
• Any of these symptoms are present:

• Fever of 100.4 or higher

• Cough- frequent and persistent

• Loss of taste or smell

• Shortness of breath

• Fatigue

• Headache

• Muscle or body aches

• Sore throat

• Congestion or runny nose

• Nausea, diarrhea or vomiting
