It was great to see so many faces at Back to School Night. Thank you to everyone who came.

Our new pick up and drop off plan is working well so far. In order to make it even better...

Beginning Monday all Kindergarten and 1st grade students will enter and exit through the side door.
Please do not park anywhere in the MW lot which includes any of the parking spaces or along the curbs. Please park along the street if you plan to walk to the door to pick up your child.

Things to think about...

Please ensure your child and your child's teacher know how the child will be going home at the end of the day.
Lunch is Free again this school year.
Please make an effort to stick to bed time and wake up routines as they set a child up for success throughout the day.
Face masks are not required anywhere in the school building but are an option if you choose. The Nurse may also request a student wear a mask while in the Nurse's office.

Some things to remember...

The school's doors open at 8:15am- There is no supervision before 8:15
Any student who arrives after 8:25 is late and an adult is required to sign the student in to school as tardy.
School dismisses at 2:40pm. Please ensure you are on time for pick up.

We are making some changes to the traffic flow for morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Please look at the image below.

If you are dropping off/picking up your kindergarten or 1st grade student off you are represented by the Green Line. After drop off you will merge with the other traffic and be allowed to exit through the first left.
If you are dropping off/picking up a 2nd through 5th grade student you are represented `by the Blue Line. You will proceed as you have in the past however you will be dropping off near the sidewalk.
If you are dropping off/picking up children from both categories please follow the green line. EX. if you are dropping off/picking up a 1st and 3rd grader please drop off/pick up at the traffic circle.
Please only drop students off in the Red Drop Off Zones.
If possible students should only exit/enter from the right side of the vehicle.

Students will enter the building as follows...

Students who are walkers or are dropped off...

Kindergarten students will enter through their classroom doors at the rear of the building until September 16th and will then enter through the side door where the 1st graders enter.
1st graders will enter through the side door near the traffic circle
All other students will enter through the front door.
