Upcoming School Eevents
- Office Hours: RVA Office Hours are back!! Please drop in at Henderson Middle School in Room 211 from 10am to 2pm Monday-Fridays. For assistance, please contact our Office Associate, Ms. Joyce Phillip, via email jphillip@rvaschools.net or call our office during Office Hours at (804) 228-3277.
- October 21-November 11: High School Fall SOL Testing Window. High school teachers and students should have received communication about specific SOL testing dates. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to check out the RVA High School SOL Testing Letter and/or contact our RVA School Counselor and High School Site Testing Coordinator, Dr. Candace Benn.
- November 4-5-Schools Closed (Election Day, Wellness Day)
- November 14-Parent Teacher Conferences

The Exceptional Education Department is pleased to announce the commencement of the Circle of Friends initiative. This club is designed for our exceptional education scholars to foster new friendships, learn collaboratively, and experience personal growth. The RVA OWL Circle of Friends emphasizes inclusion, cultivating connections through various activities such as games, interest groups, lunch bunch, corn hole, Sneaker ball, talent show, field trips, and more. The primary goal of this group is to promote inclusivity and establish meaningful relationships.
RVA Owl's Circle of Friends convenes every (To be determined), during which scholars join small groups of their choice to engage in activities together. These activities span a range of interests, including sports, art, collectibles, cooking, reading, and puzzles. Your participation and support in fostering a sense of community are greatly appreciated.
