Davis Elementary Update
Reminders for the 24-25 School Year
Dear Davis Families,
I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer. As we get closer to the beginning of the school year I wanted to take the time to send out a few reminders in preparation for 24-25 school year. We have been very busy at Davis. Our custodians, and maintenance staff have been painting, cleaning, moving, and making our building into a beautiful space once again. Our teachers have been planning units, meeting with their teams, and getting their classrooms ready. While we're excited to welcome you back soon, we encourage you to make the most of these final days of summer break. Savor those precious family moments, finish up any summer projects, and take time to recharge for the exciting year ahead. We look forward to seeing all of you and hearing about your summer adventures!
Warm Regards,
Gina Shaw
Principal

Bus Routes
Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, you can find your child's bus route information through Home Access Center (HAC). Bus routes will be available for viewing at 8am on Wednesday, August 7th.
1. Log in to HAC using your username and password.
2. Once you are logged in, click on the Registration tab at the top of the page.
3. Scroll down to find the section titled "School Transportation." This will provide information on pickup and drop off times, as well as bus stop location.
Use of Cell Phones and Smart Watches
Students are extended the privilege of possessing phones/smartwatches on school grounds; however, their use is limited to after-school dismissal and non-school days. These devices must be in the off position on school grounds, including bus transportation. We would appreciate you monitoring your child’s cell phone use to ensure they are not using them during school hours. If you would like more information on our student handbook, please click HERE.
School Supplies & School Supply Drop Off
It is school supply season! You can access the school supply list on the Davis district website or HERE. You will get a chance to drop off your child’s school supplies and meet their teacher on Monday, August 12th any time between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
Label Everything!
Please remember to label coats, jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. Our Lost and Found was overflowing last year.
Home Access Center (HAC)
Home Access Center (HAC) is District 303's tool for efficient and timely communication with parents about their children. The Home Access Center (HAC) offers parents the ability to view a daily summary, attendance information, student schedule, and more all in a password protected environment. Alerts and emergency communications are sent to the contact information provided in HAC through our ParentLink system. HAC opens on August 7th. At that time you will see which class your child is in.
