BES Parent Weekly Email
October 11, 2024
From the Principal
Parents,
It has been a whirlwind the last two weeks. I hope you and your family are okay, and have been able to begin to recoup from the storm!
We had a great transition back into school this week, and were able to make up our corn hole tournament today. We have had to move some things around on our calendar due to being out. Please see the updated calendar below.
We want you involved in your child's education! Our teachers have completed their beginning of the year parent conferences. However, if you would ever like to schedule one or have questions throughout the year, always feel free to reach out to them!
Lastly, we are open to you coming to eat lunch with your child. You are also able to bring them food for lunch. The only thing that I ask is that you do not take them home early. Taking them home early will put them behind.
If I can ever do anything to help you in anyway, please feel free to reach out to myself or Mrs. Lance.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Fowler

Reminders
Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Breakfast
If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Tardy Bell
The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am. Students must be in their classroom by 7:45am in order to not be tardy. Parents must park and walk their child in if they are tardy.
Early Dismissal
Students will not be allowed to be dismissed from class after 2:00pm without administrator approval. Please plan doctor appointments accordingly.
Free Lunch
Breakfast and Lunch are free for all of our students this year!
