Greetings from Groveport Elementary

Dear Groveport Elementary Families,

We only have 8 days of school and it is important that we all stay focused and make the most of them. We are all excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and the end of the school year, with many fun events and traditions taking place over the next 2 weeks of school. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. While we all want to enjoy these final days, our expectations for student behavior cannot diminish. We expect students to behave appropriately and come to school each day with a positive attitude ready to learn and follow our school rules and expectations. Students who choose not to follow the expectations will have their school year end short. Parents can help by making sure your child gets plenty of rest, stays on a schedule, and come to school on time. Let's work together to make the end of the school year a great success.

Thank you Nationwide Children's Hospital for providing our 5th graders with Health Education for growth and development. A huge thank you to Kathy and Jamie (I Support the Girls - Columbus) for donating the Kate Spade cosmetic bags filled with products for the girls and for the deodorant sticks for the boys!

The kids had the best time at Champion's Day (Field Day)! Love the shirts this year - so cute!

Mrs. Geisler surprised the kids by bringing Tay’vion Muse to see them! (He moved to CW a few months ago)

Cruiser STAR Awards are given to students by staff members for students who show characteristics of being a Cruiser STAR - Stay Safe, Take Responsibility, Act Respectfully, Reach Goals. Students come to the office and put their gold STAR in our Treasure Box. Every Friday, Mrs. Bray picks 15 - 20 STARs from the Treasure Box and calls those students to the office for a prize.
