UIL MARCHING CONTEST ITINERARY
THIS SATURDAY – REGION 25 UIL MARCHING CONTEST
GOING FOR 30 YEARS IN A ROW 1st DIVISION RATINGS
Parents, clear your schedule and be our cheering section at Kimbrough Stadium (Murphy)
TICKET PRICE: $10 Adult/ $5 ISD Student (Pre-school age children are free). YOU MUST PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE: https://www.pisd.edu/domain/14369
- There is a clear bag policy in place (see the photo below)
8:00AM Band Hall opens
8:45AM Change in changing rooms (same as game)
9:15AM Move to Stadium
9:30AM Rehearsal/Run Through in Bibbers with Shako
10:30AM Load Trailers - All percussion equipment and tubas will load at the stadium. All other instruments will be taken by individuals in a personal vehicle or bus.
- Breakfast Burritos provided from Chiloso after rehearsal (2 per member)
11:00AM Inspection
- Full uniform (jacket/pants/gauntlets/gloves/shako)
- Hat box
- Long Black Socks
- Marching Shoes (cleaned)
- Instrument (cleaned)
11:45AM Depart WHS
You may drive or ride with a parent
If you need a ride, there will be buses available at reduced capacity.

12:00PM Arrive
12:30PM Warm Up
1:19PM Performance
- After our performance we will meet at the designated area on the map to take up plumes and receive our ratings and comments from the judges. Percussion and Tubas will immediately load trailers after the performance, then meet with the band.
2:00PM Load & Depart
ALL students will go back to WHS to put uniform away & unload equipment.
PARKING / MEETING MAP
- Parking for students/ buses/ spectators.
- Meeting area - We will meet in WARM UP A (that is the plan today)
- You will be in FULL uniform with Instrument. Plumes will be given out in Warm Up area.
- You will receive a water bottle from a TWB booster parent as you enter the Warm Up area.
- You will put plumes away in our meeting place when you come off the field.
- We will get organized and check that all equipment is placed correctly before dismissing to return to WHS.
