Monday Memo
Cougars,
We're approaching Homecoming week, a time for students, staff, families, and alumni to show their school spirit and pride throughout the week.
The Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally are two of the week's most significant events. The parade is on Wednesday, November 6th, starting at 5:00 pm. The deadline to sign up to have a float in the parade is this Friday, November 1st. You can sign up using this link. Below is a map of the parade route for you to download.
Following the parade is our Pep Rally at JHS Stadium, where we will celebrate the lighting of the JC, sing the school song, and motivate our players, marching band, and color guard to play hard and be their best.
The Homecoming game is on Friday, November 8th, at JHS Stadium. The gates open at 7:00 pm, and our Cougars play Gonzales at 7:30 pm. The crowning achievement is at halftime when we celebrate the Homecoming Court and reveal the names of the Homecoming King and Queen. We'll announce when the link to buy your tickets is online. Jarrell ISD has a clear bag policy for entering the stadium.
Homecoming is a shared celebration of the community. Students, staff, families, neighbors, and alums feel a deep sense of pride and belonging when participating in the festivities. Homecoming Week is a truly memorable and meaningful event.
Let's all come together to Paint Jarrell Blue and show off those Mums. We can't wait to see you!
