Adult Restrooms
Parents if you are here volunteering or eating with your student(s) in our Blue Jay Cafe and are in need of using a restroom, please use one of our available adult restrooms. Please DO NOT use student bathrooms. If you are unsure where our adult restrooms are, stop by the front office and we would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. We appreciate your help in this matter!
BCE Common Area Expectations - (Part 4)
Our common area expectations focus for this week is the bathroom (see below). In kinder and first we also reiterate the phrase, "Go, flush, wash, leave" as a quick reminder for bathroom expectations. Our grade level teachers teach and reinforce these expectations every day and students earn validations for showing safe, respectful, and responsible behavior. These validations help them earn class rewards, school-wide rewards, and new this year color team rewards. We would appreciate it if you could also reinforce these expectations at home with your child before they come to school each day. We appreciate your help!

Volunteering at BCE
There are lots of ways parents and family members can get involved at our school! Visit the PTA Volunteering page here and check out what works for you: recess monitoring, cafeteria monitoring, library volunteering, helping your child's teacher as a homeroom representative, making copies in the teacher workroom, and more! If you want to volunteer in a particular area, please make sure to sign up via our Sign-Up Geniuses. This helps the front desk know who to expect on what day. Thank you!

Celebrating our Grandparents
At BCE we think our grandparents are EXTRA special and deserve more than just one day (September 8th) of recognition! So we would love to celebrate all our wonderful grandparents the entire month of September. Our grandparents are invited to bring their grandchild/grandchildren for lunch (during their assigned lunch time) in our Blue Jay cafe. The lunch schedule is listed below. If you chose to bring lunch to your grandchild/grandchildren for lunch, please make sure you bring in your license so we can scan you into our Raptor system and provide you with a visitor badge. We look forward to seeing you!

Round Rock ISD trustees call for $998 million bond
Voters will consider propositions that provide upgrades and address needs throughout the district
Round Rock ISD trustees voted Aug. 15, 2024, for a $998 million bond election to provide upgrades and address needs throughout the district. By a vote of 5-2, the board called for four propositions to be added to the Nov. 5 Election ballot. More information about the four propositions can be found at this link. https://bond.roundrockisd.org/. The district is also hosting several information sessions if you would like to learn more.
