The Patton Post
Friday, March 8th
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Friday, March 8th
IAR testing will conclude on Tuesday of this upcoming week. Thank you to everyone for ensuring that we have minimal absences during this time.
We also do have some wonderful, fun events to help get us to Spring Break! I am so excited to share that, on Thursday, March 21st, we will have therapy dogs coming to Patton! This is our reward for "Packing the Piggy" back in the Fall! For those with students who are scared of or are allergic to dogs our wonderful mascot, Paws, will also be available. Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher if you would prefer for them not to participate.
Next Friday (March 15th), Hersey High School Athletes will be here to "HI-FIVE FRIDAY" our Panthers at school drop off and the following week, the 18-22nd March, we will have "Spirit Week" which will include an epic school wide game of Rock, Paper, Scissors! More information about this will follow next week but, in the meantime, please see the "Themes" for each day below!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks
Ellie Chin

FIRST GRADE MUSCIAL PERFORMANCE - THURSDAY, MARCH 14th - 7pm (NEW POST!)

ATTENDANCE (NEW POST!)
With report card time right around the corner, please know that we review attendance. You may receive a truancy letter regarding your child's attendance. We know that illnesses, appointments, and vacations happen throughout the year; however, days quickly add up without realizing the impact they have on your child's education. Daily attendance is expected and essential to school success. If you receive a letter, it will include the number of days absent this year as well as what percent of the school year your child has missed. People are often surprised to see this number, which is why we share it. Please work with us to ensure that your child is attending school each day. If support is needed in this area, please reach out to us as we would be happy to partner with you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
